Affordable Alternatives to Dental Implants

Dental implants are metal posts fused to your jaw bone which can in turn enable dentists to mount replacement teeth onto them. Such implants are used to fill the gaps in your smile. There are four types of dental implant procedure, endosteal, subperiosteal and mini dental implants and both require vigorous surgical procedures.

Types of Dental Implants

Endosteal - This procedure requires the individual to have a metal frame implanted directly into their jaw bone. Once everything has healed and settled down after the first procedure, a second surgical procedure is needed to connect metal posts into the metal frame.

Subperiosteal - Much like the endosteal implant a metal frame is required but this time over the jaw bone. Once the gum tissue has healed over, the frame becomes fixed to the actual jaw and then the metal posts break through the gums.

Mini Dental Implants - Pretty self explanatory. Mini dental implants are a smaller variant of the previous two other traditional dental procedures.

All on 4 Dental Implants - This a more extreme overhaul in comparison to other procedures and far less cost effective with the typical procedure hitting the $30,000 mark.
